Write your documents in Nepali, with characters specific to that language using a traditional keyboard layout. Check out the keyboard mapping guides to get familiar with the layout.
Nepali, or Devangan, is the official language of Nepal, and is also spoken in Bhutan and India. This free Unicode keyboard layout lets you write in Nepali directly, without the need of combining characters.
The program comes with its own setup file, so it is very easy to install. You only need to unzip the downloaded file, click on the Setup file, and follow the directions. Once you have done this, you can go to your system's settings, choose Time & Language, and click on Region and Language. The Nepali language will appear on the list. You can click on the language to set it as default, or go to its options. You will see the keyboard layout installed. From here, you can uninstall it if you need. Also, the keyboard will be available in the taskbar so you can switch to it in any moment.
As I said earlier, this program is free to download and use. Also, it comes in a compressed file, which makes it very fast to download. Maybe its only disadvantage is that Nepali is a very specialized language with comparatively few users. Nevertheless, if you are a linguist, scholar, language student or if you work otherwise with this language, Then this layout will be useful for you.
